As an intern for the U.S. Department of Commerce, Nicole learned HTML in 1995 and has been involved professionally with the web world ever since. She possesses a truly diverse mixture of practical talents – strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical ability as well as compelling writing and creative skills. Her solid track record of executing online marketing programs with positive ROI includes email marketing, Google AdWords, SEO, media buying, website development, social media, and analytics.
A graduate of Duke University, Nicole’s marketing strategies have had provided remarkable results such as a 300% increase in pay-per-click conversion rates while decreasing spend by 66% for Deltek, a worldwide enterprise software company. Nicole also increased leads 100% using SEO for AppAssure Software, a B2B backup software provider. In addition, her social media and email marketing acquisition and retention efforts while on staff at online news syndication high-tech start-up Voxant (now Grab Media) increased membership from 250 to 15,000 in six months, directly impacting a successful acquisition.
In 2007, Nicole started her own agency which has exceeded marketing goals for high-tech companies such as Aptara and Identity Guard. This success led to the recent merging with another agency to form the powerhouse digital marketing agency, BlueTreeDigital in 2013.
Nicole resides in Bellevue, Washington with her husband and two small sons. An American Freestyle Karate junior black belt, she spends her free hours writing paranormal romance novels, watching Doctor Who, and staring at the ceiling.
