BlueTreeDigital’s Sue Schuster Wins Ayunda’s 40th Anniversary Logo Contest

BlueTreeDigital’s Sue Schuster won nonprofit Ayuda’s 40th Anniversary Logo Contest. The nonprofit needed a great new logo that would capture the spirit of their 40 years of dedicated service to the disadvantaged immigrants in the DC area. The winning logo will be displayed and Sue recognized at Ayuda’s 40th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, May 16.

Elise Webb, Ayuda’s Program Initiatives Coordinator, was the first to inform and congratulate the BlueTreeDigital co-founder on her winning entry. Ayuda’s staff, board, and 40 for 40 Committee agreed on Sue’s graceful yet sturdy graphic.

“I don’t get to design all that often,” said Sue, “but I created this one myself. BlueTreeDigital really believes in Ayuda’s mission and vision, so it will be an honor to be associated with the organization.”

Ayuda’s mission is to protect the rights of low-income immigrants of metropolitan DC in the areas of immigration, human trafficking, domestic violence and sexual assault. Ayuda envisions a community where all immigrants overcome obstacles in order to succeed and thrive in the United States. This vision is realized by Ayuda’s advocacy of low-income immigrants through direct legal, social and language services, training and outreach.
