BlueTreeDigital has been recognized as a Gold award winner in the 2017 AVA Digital Awards for our work on behalf of one of our clients in the healthcare industry. Specifically, we won our award for marketing to Millennials. The international awards recognize excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design, and production of digital communications.
The challenge we faced? It’s just not easy reaching Millennials in today’s volatile social media world. Imagery and messages that resonate with Baby Boomers and Gen-Xers won’t necessarily work for notoriously skeptical 20-something year olds. With this mind, BlueTreeDigital rolled out a multifaceted campaign to reach out to the needed demographic, with content that made a connection.
As part of this effort, we designed and developed a new website aimed at the millennial audience. This included a new blog and SEO strategies to help the site be found more quickly. We created a new logo as a part of a branding package.
Our team also crafted a multifaceted marketing campaign that used Google AdWords, streaming radio (including Spotify, iHeart and Pandora), college outreach, and strategic media buys to reach the Millennial target. Social media advertising, including Facebook and Instagram, also played an integral part in the campaign. We paid special attention to attracting the right people our client needed.
Our work was a success! By January 2016, our client reported a 2,590% increase in their goal, as compared to April of 2015. Throughout this time, they consistently exceeded their monthly goals for accepted applications. In 2016, we averaged a 28% conversion rate on the Facebook campaigns we created for them, all while decreasing their overall CPA.
The AVA Digital Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and media production professionals.
